  • THC is the primary psychoactive compound in cannabis, responsible for the euphoric “high” and the full-spectrum sensory experience. CBD, on the other hand, is non-intoxicating and often chosen for its calming, anti-inflammatory, and restorative qualities. Many modern products pair the two to create a balanced, refined effect profile.

  • With intention. For edibles, begin with 2.5–5 mg THC and allow ample time—at least two hours—to evaluate how your body responds before increasing the dose. For inhaled products, start with a single small draw.
A mindful, measured approach ensures a smooth, enjoyable introduction.

  • No. Operating a vehicle under the influence is both unsafe and illegal. Plan transportation before you indulge.

  • Within Michigan, yes, as long as products are sealed and properly stored, and you’ve stayed within the legal possession limits. Crossing state lines or flying with cannabis remains prohibited, regardless of destination laws.

  • For adults 21 and older (recreational):

    • In public/while traveling: Up to 2.5 ounces of cannabis flower, with up to 15 grams in the form of concentrate.

    • At a private residence: Up to 10 ounces of cannabis flower, plus any cannabis produced by up to 12 home-grown plants on the premises. Any amount over 2.5 ounces must be stored in a secured, locked container or area.

    • Home cultivation: Up to 12 cannabis plants per household (not per person), as long as they are grown in an enclosed, locked space and are not visible from a public place.

  • Duration depends on the consumption method and your personal physiology.

    • Inhalation: Usually 1 to 3 hours.

    • Edibles: Often 4 to 6 hours or more, depending on dose and metabolism. The onset and longevity vary, so choose your timing wisely.

  • These classifications serve as a guide to the general character of a strain:

    • Indica varieties are known for deep physical relaxation, comfort, and a grounded sense of calm.

    • Sativa varieties tend to offer a brighter, more energizing experience often associated with creativity or focus.

    • Hybrid cultivars blend traits from both families, delivering more tailored and nuanced effects.
Individual responses vary, so consider these categories a starting point rather than an absolute.
